Kim Maden

After a ten year career in Illustration it was time for a change and I made the decision to follow two of my other passions, animals and biology! I re-trained as a Veterinary Nurse, qualified in 2018 and started working at Twickenham Vets in 2019. I regard it as such an honour to be able to work with animals and help nurse them back to health. Not only do I love caring for the patients, I also have a genuine passion for the science behind it all with a particular interest in anaesthesia.

Growing up I nurtured a number of hamsters and gerbils as well as a stubborn little Jack Russell from Battersea Dogs home, he instilled a soft spot for terriers in me and six years ago my husband and I were lucky enough to adopt another Jack Russell cross, Maisie, who brings us so much joy and lots of cuddles…now I just need to refrain from adopting any more!
