Alicia Edgington

From an early age I was surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. From dogs to rats, chickens to cats and many more. Whilst growing up my favourite thing to do was to visit farm parks and get hands on with the animals.  At the age of 18 I studied Animal Care at Merrist Wood college. The best part of my experience was assisting a ewe to give birth and training a chicken!  

I got a job as a Veterinary Auxiliary at a referral practice in Guildford.  I loved my job and valued the impact I could have on a patient’s recovery back to full health. Every day was always exciting with lots to learn and many furry friends to make.  

I decided I wanted to progress my career and started here at Twickenham Vets in March 2022. I am currently a Veterinary Care Assistant and will be starting as a Student Vet Nurse in September.  I am so excited for what my future has in store for me in the veterinary world!
